Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Nami mobile app and any related services we offer. By creating a Nami account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Nami is provided by the Nami team. If something here is unclear, reach out and we will do our best to explain it in plain language.

1. The service

Nami is a mobile app that guides you through Interval Walking Training sessions and lets you track your walking history. The free version gives you the standard 5 × (3 min slow / 3 min fast) protocol; Nami Plus unlocks custom protocols, progress graphs, and future Plus features.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will not knowingly remove features you have paid for without offering an alternative.

2. Your account

You can use the standard session without an account. To unlock Plus features or sync your data across devices, you need to create a Nami account with an email address and password.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity on your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Acceptable use

Please use Nami for its intended purpose: walking. Do not try to disrupt the service, scrape data from other users, attempt to access accounts that are not yours, or use the app for anything illegal.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

4. Nami Plus and payments

Nami Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Plus features described in the app. There is no recurring subscription.

Purchases are processed through your platform store (Apple App Store). Refunds are handled according to that store's policies.

If we add new features to Plus in the future, your existing Plus purchase will include them at no additional cost. We reserve the right to introduce separate paid features in the future, but those would be optional.

5. Health and safety disclaimer

Nami is a fitness tool, not medical advice. Walking is generally safe, but if you have a health condition, are recovering from injury, or are pregnant, please consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise routine.

You are responsible for choosing safe places to walk and for stopping if you feel unwell. Nami is not liable for injuries, accidents, or health outcomes that occur during or after a session.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Nami available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance or address bugs that result in temporary downtime. Cloud sync depends on our backend provider being reachable.

Sessions recorded offline are stored on your device and will sync when you reconnect.

7. Termination

You can delete your Nami account at any time from the app. When you do, we will remove your personal data from our servers within a reasonable period, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where possible.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when the app changes meaningfully. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before the new terms take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
